GOZAN-KOH: GRANULATED INCENSE
GOZAN-KOH: GRANULATED INCENSE
This incense blend contains loose, raw ingredients that ask to be burnt in the traditional manner—using charcoal and ash.
We are attracted to this choice when wanting to harness the power of smoke or when working more deeply with intention. The recipe is woody, spiced, and deeply nourishing for those who resonate with working with incense in its raw form.
125 grams
A granulated incense. Our Gozan-Koh, which means "Five Mountains", contains raw ingredients: sandalwood, aloeswood, star anise etc.. Charcoal and ash are needed.
-Nippon Kodo
Recommended Use: Sprinkle a pinch or two of the chipped mixture on burnt charcoal with ashes beneath it. Burn this style inside a dish or traditional burner. It is easiest if you use incense tongs to handle the charcoal. Uses and tools can be found here.
