Ring: Beatty Tom Kingman Turquoise & Buffalo Nickle
Ring: Beatty Tom Kingman Turquoise & Buffalo Nickle
A superb ring from the highly collectable Beatty Tom who specializes in stone cluster work.
The Kingman turquoise is the blue ideal and 14 cabochons encircle the bezel set buffalo nickel. The added rope, framing the coin, is clever. Each turquoise setting is divided by sterling ball granulations which adds a decorative touch and pulls all of the metal details together. The front design is fully supported by a sawed backing of notable gauge and the weight is not clumsy so that the ring can be worn fearlessly.
For me, it is her alignments that are so impressive and the uniform coloring of each stone. Not to mention how stable and comfortable the ring is when worn; a band really does make a ring realistic or not and she knows this.
