Necklace: John Baalerud 1960s White Guilloche
Necklace: John Baalerud 1960s White Guilloche
A beautiful guilloche enamel necklace from the renowned Norwegian jeweler John Baalerud. Each piece is cast, etched for a ribbed design, enameled, then treated with a patina to give the silver a bronze tone. The work can be quite tedious and the perfection of this style was recognized through the highly collectable pieces created by a handful of Scandinavian artists such as Baalerud.
These pieces are timeless and even more beautiful when worn.
Hallmark: 925S JB.
Noteable: This piece has an added extender chain that was professionally included most likely at the time of purchase & there is slight chipping on one of the links. The price reflects this detail.
Measurements: 17” | 44 grams
As per standard, very early vintage is not polished unless requested. Silver will naturally polish the more that it is worn.
