Necklace: Plain Navajo Pearls
Necklace: Plain Navajo Pearls
Non-stamped Pearl Saucer Beads by Native American artist Michelle Jameson.
Navajo Pearls are a traditional design that involves hand rolling sterling silver sheets into saucers or rounded beads, then oxidized for an "antique finish". After the beads are finished drying from oxidization, they are hand spun for a buffed shine.
The process is long and laborious with a finished product that carries the rhythms of the artist. Navajo Pearls are often considered an "investment" piece to due the high amount of silver that they contain.
Measurements: 18” Length | 14 mm bead | 104g.
As per standard, very early vintage is not polished unless requested. Silver will naturally polish the more that it is worn.
