Nils Erik From (1908-1986) was a Danish silversmith who opened his studio in 1931 at the age of 23. In the early years he was known for floral designs in the Danish Arts and Crafts style. By the 1960's he had transitioned to the more modernist style that made him particularly famous and lead to his reputation as one of the premier modernist Danish designers. From passed away in the mid 1980's and although his son took over the company, it closed a few years later.
As per standard, very early vintage is not polished unless requested. Silver will naturally polish the more that it is worn.
