Bolo Tie: Mid-Century Turquoise Bolos
Bolo Tie: Mid-Century Turquoise Bolos
These bolos are stunning. They are large, yet earthy. Organic yet refined. There is a depth to the work and a nod to the turquoise that perfectly highlights how stunning each stone is. The details of the matrix in each of the bolos is beautiful and these will simply mesmerize those who get to see them in the wild. It is a treasure to come across a vintage bolo design that I haven’t seen before, or if I have—as in the shadowbox design, it is refreshing to have one that is just crafted really really well.
The leather braiding has much life left and the aiguillettes are just as intentionally crafted. The shadowbox stone bolo is made with pointed aiguillettes and the cluster bolo has spheres that have stamping across the top both on the sphere itself and where the leather is held. The shadowbox stone bolo has a wire slide while the cluster bolo has a clasp slide.
Both are bold, dark, and just plain sexy.
